PROGRAM DETAILS

 

Initial nutrition assessment:

Together we'll explore your eating preferences and habits, relationship with food, medical history, and food- and health-related goals. This will guide our action plan to make sure we do what works best for you. 

Follow up sessions:

Follow-ups provide personal accountability, and allow us to track your progress and adjust our plan to best help you meet your goals. Each session will have an education component, so you'll always walk away with more confidence in your food choices. 

Mood/food log review and feedback:

Mood/food logs are a great way to spot habits we didn't know we had and identify trends that may be stopping us from reaching goals. Rather than focus on every thing you eat, I like to explore how you feel when you're eating. I'll review your log and give feedback as necessary via email each week.  

Recaps and digital resources:

I read the research, so you don't have to! After each session, I'll email you a recap of our conversation, with some suggested reading material and worksheets that align with our topic of discussion. 

Meal planning:

To start you off, I'll supply a short meal plan with some of my favorite recipes.  But my goal is for you to be able to confidently structure your own meals, so that no matter what situation you find yourself in (dinner party, airport, you name it!), you'll be able to make great food choices. 

Email support:

I'm always available via email for questions that may pop up during the duration of your package.  And I'll be sending you notes along the way, so we're always in touch!

Ask-a-Dietitian:

A 60-minute session to help fill some gaps in your nutrition knowledge. This is perfect for caretakers of those with specialized nutritional needs or those beginning to think about making a nutrition-related change. 

Maintenance Sessions:

Follow-up sessions are available for those who have finished a nutrition counseling package, but would still like ongoing support on their own terms.
